Jesus Vs. Sylar : Oh Snap, It's On Now.
Actually, it’s more like if Jesus and Sylar started blogs, and then linked to each other, sooo maybe a bad metaphor. Anyway, we’ve been looking to expand for a while – so after some back and forth I’m glad to announce that A Future In Noise has agreed to sponsor our board. It’s more of an adoption since money didn’t trade hands, but our forum isn’t a homeless vagabond, so… there really isn’t an apt metaphor here either…
Anyways, Marilyn and Ian are both excellent writers and people of taste. so go check out A Future In Noise if you like. If you’re a fan of our MySpace account (and our internet magic tells us you’re absolutely out there, lurking), you’ll probably see us link to interesting stuff posted there, too.
Hopefully, getting them plugged into an awesome and longrunning community such as this one will suck casual visitors in from the cold and distant blogtopolis and keep them there. And of course, we’re hoping that this will draw in fresh blood to the board and draw even more interest, and by our powers combined we’ll eventually… I dunno. Form Voltron or something? Win win.
There’s also a new, lighter theme that’s um… themed for their page. We switched the default in celebration (I know, that’s what passes for celebration around here) – since you’ve been staring at our dark-assed theme for the last 2 years, it should feel like a breath of fresh air. If you don’t like it, feel free to leave it alone – it will go back to the default next week.
